When I first spoke to Kim about their family portraits, she was trying to schedule it during spring break while her son was home from college. It didn’t leave us a lot of options for rain dates, so we just hoped for the best and settled on an afternoon. We met at their home – always a great way to personalize your portrait session in Portland! They live on a hill and have a beautifully landscaped side yard with trailing rocks up the hill, so we made use of that area first.
